Quantum Sensing & Imaging Lab was recently featured in an article by Hankook Ilbo, one of Korea’s major newspapers, as part of its coverage on young scientists who continue to pursue research in fundamental science and advanced technologies.

The article introduced Sangwoo Park, a graduate student in our lab, and highlighted his research in quantum sensing, a field that aims to precisely measure physical quantities and microscopic phenomena that cannot be directly observed with the human eye or conventional instruments.
In the article, Sangwoo shared his motivation for choosing the path of research and his aspiration to contribute to expanding the way humanity understands the world through science.

QuSI Lab’s research focuses on quantum sensing and imaging based on solid-state quantum systems, including diamond NV centers.
Through this media feature, our lab’s ongoing efforts in quantum science and technology were introduced to a broader public audience.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our research and the passion of young scientists with society.
QuSI Lab will continue to pursue meaningful research in quantum sensing, quantum imaging, and quantum information science, while contributing to the growth of Korea’s quantum science community.
